Shradha Ravikumar is a second year RESESS intern, and she graduated from Arizona State in the spring with a major in astrobiology and biogeosciences and a minor in astrophysics. This summer, Shradha is working at Georgia Tech University in Atlanta analyzing the changing depths of mid-ocean ridges over time.
Natalea Cohen is a Student Career intern from Nederland, Colorado. This summer she is working as a science communication intern and learning about science writing, website and social media content, graphic design, and interviews.
Natalie Restrepo is a RESESS intern spending the summer in Socorro, New Mexico. This summer, Natalie is working with a team of interns in the Middle Rio Grande Basin using archived logs coupled with their own data collection to create a complete map of the groundwater and wells in the area.
Alaina Foster is a URISE intern entering their senior year at Wellesley College in Massachusetts studying geoscience and computer science. This summer, Alaina is at the University of California Berkeley looking at seasonal seismic velocity changes in the Long Valley Caldera.
Masooma Hasnain is a URISE intern from Los Angeles, California. This summer, Masooma is working on a project aiming to identify land- and sea-based microseisms from historical data.
Jaden Hill is a Student Career intern entering her senior year at Columbia University studying environmental science and sustainable development. This summer, Jaden is working with a team of interns to assist the science communication team at EarthScope.
Sebastian Griego is a Geo-Launchpad intern that just completed his degree at Central New Mexico Community College in Earth and planetary sciences. This summer, Sebastian is working on a project to map and verify the composition of rare earth element ores and other critical minerals in Black Hawk mining district in Grants, New Mexico.
Grant Clark is a URISE intern attending Missouri University of Science and Technology studying geology and geophysics. This summer, Grant’s project aims to better understand the structure of the mantle plume beneath Iceland.
