EarthScope Data Services will be retiring the irisws-timeseries web service and its associated microservices as part of our strategic initiative to refine the NSF National Geophysical Facility’s portfolio of data and metadata access capabilities in the cloud.

We are migrating the archiving of miniSEED data in the NSF National Geophysical Facility repository from our legacy Seattle data center to a new cloud platform.

Our fdsnws-availability web service will be out of service for an undetermined period of time starting on July 27.  We are working on a replacement system and will make it available as soon as possible.

Our PH5 web services will be migrating and retiring. The data and metadata previously served by these web services will be migrated to our FDSN web services.

Our fdsnws-station web service, the primary source of station metadata for our seismological repository, is moving from service.iris.edu to service.earthscope.org as part of our cloud transition.

We will be retiring the irisws-flinnengdahl web service as a part of our effort to refine the NSF NGF’s portfolio of data and metadata access capabilities in the cloud.

The SeedLink streaming service, providing access to real-time streams from seismological networks, is moving from rtserve.iris.washington.edu to rtserve.earthscope.org

Quality Assurance metrics for seismic data in our archive can be found via the MUSTANG suite of services.

The NSF National Geophysical Facility’s seismological repository is transitioning into the cloud, and data submitters and consumers should be aware of operational changes.
