If you’re interested in helping us by communicating the value of this network and this science in your community, we’d absolutely love to give you some support! We create interpretive signs for stations that see traffic on public lands, and we have print materials (see the classroom posters page for some examples) and other educational resources we can give you to share with others. The Learn about NOTA page is also a great place to find information you can share.

GPS stations are now part of the ShakeAlert® Earthquake Early Warning System network

GPS stations augment seismometers, significantly improving the system’s ability to accurately detect the largest earthquakes. Find information and education resources related to the announcement here!
