About Lucia (she/her)

Lucia is an incoming PhD student at the Jackson School of Geosciences, where she plans to study mineralogical surface processes on Mars to better understand the early climate of the planet. Lucia graduated from Rutgers University – New Brunswick in May 2021, with a bachelor of science in Geology and a minor in Business and Technical Writing. She is excited to continue learning about geodesy and explore graphic design and video production this summer as a science communications intern!
