This summer we’re introducing interns from Student Career, RESESS, and Geo-Launchpad programs to highlight their research projects and how NSF NGF programs further their career goals and involvement in the geosciences.

Introducing our science communication interns! Kat Plaza is an incoming PhD student at the University of Oregon, Amanda Syamsul just graduated with her Masters from UC Santa Cruz, and Lexi Kenis is currently pursuing their PhD at the University of New Mexico. They have spent the summer producing various kinds of science communication materials through a combination of writing, illustration, video editing, and animations.
