Project
Evaluating Noise in New Mexico Seismic Stations
About Sami (she/her)
Sami Koller is a sophomore at Pikes Peak State College completing an Associates of Science degree in Geology. She plans on continuing her education by transferring to Metropolitan State University of Denver to pursue a bachelor’s in applied geology, and then to a graduate program with a focus in volcanology. Over the summer, she will be analyzing data from several seismic stations in New Mexico to determine which areas have the most activity and how anthropogenic activities influence the noise levels.
