About Erik

Erik was born in Wisconsin to a father who came from a dairy farming family and mother who emigrated from Puerto Rico. He studied physical geography and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After moving to Boulder, CO, he got a master’s degree in education. Since then, he has specialized in program evaluation work in education and science education. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at the University of Colorado-Boulder in the School of Education.
