Integrating Hydrology and Geophysics Series: Challenges and Opportunities in Data Sharing & Critical Zone Science

Date(s): February 11, 2026 at 12-1:00pm MT
Location: Virtual

This four-part joint webinar series between the EarthScope-operated NSF National Geophysical Facility and CUAHSI aims to highlight the work being done at the intersection of hydrology and geophysics and foster collaboration between geophysicists and hydrologists to broaden critical zone scientific communities.

In this session, the presenters will share opportunities and lessons learned related to data sharing and training initiatives including CZNet, GAIA HazLab, and GeoSMART. Learn about resources you can take advantage of and how best to facilitate data collaborations across critical zone disciplines.

Presenters:

  • Jeff Horsburgh, Utah State University
  • Kerstin Lehnert, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University
  • Nicoleta Cristea, University of Washington
