My name is Alan Horton, and I’m a Polar Engineer from the IRIS/PASSCAL side of projects. My job typically entails building enclosures, preparing and testing equipment for fieldwork typically for the arctic and antarctic, and then possibly deploy on site to set up the experiments. My hobbies include hiking/backpacking, boxing, woodworking, watching scary movies, and I’m a huge metalhead.
