Anika is an experienced scientific researcher who is dedicated to increasing inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility in science. She credits her own experience with an NSF funded Research Experience for Undergraduates(REU) program as a major factor in her decision to pursue graduate school. In the following years she served as both an REU graduate student mentor, and program coordinator. Anika brings her unique background and perspective to internship programs. She is also an evergreen member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.
