The EarthScope E&O Program outlines an implementation plan that focuses on local needs while meeting national goals. These goals include strategies for recruitment of the next generation of Earth scientists, informing the public of current breakthroughs in Earth science research, aiding in placing seismic and geodetic instruments across the North American continent, and providing innovative education and outreach opportunities.

Education & Outreach Program

The EarthScope National Office (ESNO) at Oregon State University is managing the EarthScope Education and Outreach program in collaboration with the EarthScope E&O Steering Committee and with the help of IRIS and UNAVCO who are installing two of the EarthScope Facilities.
